change in home and news pages
after six months in operation, I have decided to set up the home and news pages on a monthly basis. The home and news items will operate from the top down so that later items in each month will be added to the top of the page and the rest of the items pushed down. The two pages will then be stored in the ark and log directories repectively once a month and replaced by the next month's pages.site operation
The structure of the site is a wheel with the Home page at the hub and ring pages on the rim one click away from each other and the hub.As an aid to looking for what is new and what is coming, I have continued to mark
- new or updated items on the site with `***'
- and items in the pipeline with `=='.

ring pages
Two new ring pages: a `Family' page ***, and a `Camp' page *** have been added and appear in the tabs at the top and bottom of the ring pages. I have decided to extend the ring concept to anotherlevel(2) with the ring tabs functioning without one `lit up', to make navigation easier (and famliar) Below level2 there is the return button (green arrow in top left hand corner) or there may be a breadcrumb trail which records the page name at each containing previous level for the page you are on. -
google
The google search engine has at last caught up with us and so the google search facility for this web-site and the internet is now functioning. It is in the left column on every page with the familiar Google trademark and allows you to search the site directly. Type in banashee to see how it works. New entries on the site take a couple of weeks to register with Google so new items entered will not give a Google hit.

The home page will in future be reserved for announcing new additions to the site. -
writing page
I have added a map to this page as it has an increasing content and proposed content. It will remain divided into two sections, one is short stories and the other is books I have written or extracts from books I am writing. -
news at 10 page
What it says on the tin. But it will be short. Also added to the news page is the news log in the left column which links to back issues of news. -
family page ***
Includes a genealogy section whiich is already big but is going to be very big. -
camp page***
The field is pictured here with events at Camp 2006. A blog for camp 2007 is soon to appear. -
layout page
Contains a map of the site and will contain details and maps of site developments. -
gallery page
Has a collection of albums with mini-pictures, pictures, and the big pictures in the newer galleries. A new gallery camp 2006*** has been started. Camp 2007 == is in preparation. -
