Look who contacted me on facebook. A young old face (I think that's the right way round): Grant. Good to hear from you.

meeting my cousin lewis

Went to see my cousin Lewis last Tuesday in Ramsgate. I haven't seen him (or his brother Brian) since I was 12. Had a great day.

Will write more about the day and the results later.

belly dancing at darbucka's

Went to the Belly Dancing Evening to celebrate Eid. The atmosphere and dancing was great. The special event later in the evening was the whirling dervish. Spectacular show from the spinning dervish who served as a huge, human cooling fan for fifteen minutes on a very warm evening.

Unfortunately, it was difficult to take pictures but I managed a few which were characterized by colour and action, if not Shafeek the dancer.

manor netball u19 tournament

The tournament was held on a sunny day on 14th October. The competition was held for three groups: senior, U19, U16. New Cambell U19s made it through to the semi-finals where they lost to Oakwood.

Rebecca has recently joined me on facebook and has posted some photos. When I have finished Bill Gleave's album I will make up an ongoing album for family photos. In the meantime, I will retain this photo of Amelia and Rebecca recently taken on holiday in Portugal and rotate some of her photos here starting with florence.
